About the Writer

Don't think i finished reading this book...

Jivani Jeyasingam is a small town girl from Johor Bahru. Reading has been her one true love from the moment she learnt how to…well, read, obviously, and one will never find her without a book, or two, in her bag.

Her “living the city life” dream came true when she made the move to Kuala Lumpur to pursue a diploma at Taylors College (Diploma in Mass Communication) and later on, a degree at Lim Kok Wing University College of Creative Technology (Degree in Film & Television and Public Relations). Her blind determination in studying Film & Television made her realize that she did not want a career producing, directing or editing moving pictures. But it did open her eyes to the world of writing, thanks to her journalism and scrip writing classes.

Upon graduation, she worked at a small music company which thought her a little of what the working world was like. She’s also had experience working in the crazy world of public relations before finally venturing into the writing world.

Her first gig as a Fashion & Beauty writer was an eye opener to the big bad world of evil editors and wannabe fashion enthusiasts. Her next gig for a local magazine aimed at tourists in Malaysia introduced her to the joys of attending glamorous, fun, and some boring events as well, where she got to mix work with fun. Faced with the risk of losing her soul and sanity, she departed from the local magazine with a big smile to take on her current role as an Online Editor for a reputable expat media company in Malaysia.

Jivani has also recently ventured into the world of freelance writing. If you are interested in getting in touch with her, you can email her at jivanijeyasingam@gmail.com

Complains, questions, and compliments are most welcomed.
